We went for brunch and the menu was good, quite a bit to choose from. Service was lacking as we were in a big group and put at the very end of the restaurant when it wasn't busy at all, so we really struggled to get the wait staff's attention when we wanted to order anything extra or ask for water etc.. Other than that, food was good, would probably come back again.

Great salads. Great burgers. Great service. House sparkling was a bit too sweet. Will definitely go back.

I chose Gramercy because their menu advertises that the burgers are cooked medium (pink in the middle). Every burger that was ordered at our table was served medium well. So we were disappointed.

About Gramercy Social

Manhattan, Meet Melbourne Bring a little USA spirit to your dining at the Gramercy Bistro in South Yarra. A New York-inspired bistro, Gramercy offers breakfast, lunch, dinner and late night drinks and bar nibbles. Located at The Cullen Hotel on Commercial Road, its proximity to Prahran Market means you can be sure that everything on the menu is market fresh. With New York as its muse, Gramercy’s décor reflects some of the Big Apple’s greatest hotels with its white-tiled walls, light wooden bench tops, black finishes and deep red accents. There’s a rotating collection of artwork on display from the nearby Metro Gallery, so you can check out some of Australia’s emerging artists while enjoying a bite and a tipple. As for the food, you’ll find some good old American standbys on offer, including huevos ranchos (fried eggs with spicy beans, guacamole, hot sauce and a tortilla) for breakfast. There are, of course, bagels for breakfast too as well as crunchy granola. And pancakes? Naturally. For dinner, try a cheeseburger with American mustard or a smoked salmon bagel. At any time of day, Gramercy Bistro brings a bit of Manhattan sass to the streets of Melbourne. Best dish: Gramercy breakfast hash with pastrami
