We had a lovely night. Great to see the use of a lot of local and Australian produce used and wines. Wait staff were great

Wine list quite limited - lack of selection of lighter red wines like Pinot Noir which is more suitable than heavier reds on hot humid days such as currently.

The five course tasting menu with paired wines is absolutely divine!

The food was superb. Creative dishes that looked like works of art and tasty. The setting was simple & relaxed and not noisy. Staff were knowledgeable and attentative. Just expensive for everyday dining but reasonable priced not for fine dining.

The best dining experience I’ve had in Brisbane. It was a celebration of Queensland and Australian life. Every meal was a piece of art that told its own story ... simply brilliant!

We had the 5-course degustation menu. Taste was excellent with fresh, local and seasonal produce. Food presentation inspired by the surrounding artwork.

We were lucky that the restaurant was quiet. Helped make the service exemplary. Wines well matched to dishes. We had 5 courses and could barely finish the dishes.

About GOMA Restaurant

Art that talks The award-winning GOMA Restaurant, housed within the Queensland Art Gallery of Modern Art (ie. GOMA) offers elegant dining in a five star environment. With beautiful dining spaces (both inside and out) this restaurant delivers quality food that reflects its contemporary and creative surrounds. On the decadent Modern Australian menu you will find the best of Queensland produce (majority of which are sustainable and organic). There is an a la carte menu in addition to a sensational five or nine course degustation option. The wines too have been carefully selected to enhance the dining experience, and can be perfectly matched to the menu or enjoyed as a stand-alone tipple. Come for the art but stay for the food at GOMA. Best Dish: degustation menu.
