Such a busy yum cha but service manages to be there just when you need. The food is delicious and because you choose your own of course you always love it! The wine list is inexpensive and well chosen.

This is the best Chinese restaurant in the northern suburbs. Food is good, particularly great value for family and friends gathering.

After enjoying Go;d Leaf Preston for many years, probably won't return - very disappointing yum cha on Mother's Day - limited choice and frantic service. There was 3 sittings but diners from the second sitting left up to 30 minutes after the sitting finished.

The dining experience was for yum cha. I thought it was way to expensive for the amount of food we got. $40 per person, was expecting to pay less.

It was extremely disorganized and the service was very poor. Very disappointing.

About Gold Leaf Preston

A Bit of Hustle, a Bit of Bustle, and Plenty of Yum Cha If you’re looking for a bustling dining experience in Preston, not a quiet candlelit dinner, look no further than Gold Leaf. In the midst of lively conversation and a packed dining room, the Gold Leaf staff delivers when it comes to quick, attentive service. Bring an appetite and see what takes your fancy from a wide selection of dishes on constantly rotating trolleys, or order from the a la carte menu. The braised tofu deserves a mention, as do the scallop dumplings. Whether you’re feeling totally adventurous or a bit more traditional in your tastes, you’ll be spoiled for choice at this good value, casual restaurant (though vegetarians will find the choices rather limited). If you manage to take a breath in between bites of prawn and veg dumplings, look around to check out the spinning chandeliers and bright decorations. It’s a bit of a surreal experience - just as yum cha should be. Best Dish: Scallop Dumplings
