Spacious and good food. Some popular items like chicken feet need to be restocked in the cart more so that customers don’t have to wait so long. We waited more than 30 mins for this dish .

Good yum cha on weekends. Food variety is a bit limited compared to the Sunshine outlet, although the atmosphere is way better. Service was also slow during my time.

Great food and staffs are all friendly and helpful. Our 1st choice of going yum cha. You can even do quite good shopping at the Harbour Town Plaza afterwards. Easy to spend a weekend afternoon there. :-)

About Gold Leaf Harbor Town

Turn over a gold leaf.. Gold Leaf. This Yum Cha Chinese restaurant certainly gets a gold star for their har gow. In fact, they ace it. These pretty, pleated, prawn dumplings are notorious for sticking to one another or to the steamer (it’s bloody annoying) and the delicate wrappers are often torn off, but not at Gold Leaf, these babies’ petticoats remain in-tact and as well as being beautiful to look at they are also extremely moreish...waiter - more please! Set in Melbourne’s Harbour Town (aka Docklands - it’s not so much of a ghost town anymore) you’ll have views of the spinning Southern Star wheel while you dine (yes it’s finally turning...until the next mechanic malfunction that is). Gold Leaf is a quick, cheap, high-variety option where everyone can drink tea and get back to work in a flash. Pick an order boss and go hard on a mix of dumplings, steamed broccoli and pork buns. You’re in for a speedy but pleasant dining experience. Best dish: fillet of beef in garlic sauce or an extensive range of seafood
