One my fave places to catch up with a couple of friends over some wine and some delicious charcuterie. Sometimes hit and miss with the service. But overall pretty good.

It's always so lovely to come back. Food and drink list are spot on, they offer great quality and professional and friendly service. We had their burgers this time, and wow! Amazing!

Went for the Burger and Beer night - great value for money!

Ambience and general feel was good, however service was a bit slack - one staff member was attentive, the others not really on their game - it took quite a while for out cheese platter to arrive and there were not many patrons in the bar. In addition the bathroom facility was quite pungent on the nose (smelt like uncleaned urine on the floor).

Good place to grab a glass of wine or two and nibbles if in the James Street area.

About Gerard's Bar Charcuterie

Introducing one of Brisbane’s best bars: Gerard’s Bar, Gerard’s Bistro’s little sister. Make your way through the lane ways of New Farm, and you’ll find Gerard's Bar Charcuterie tucked away behind the hustle and bustle of James Street. Inducting themselves into the Spanish inspired scene with tapas, charcuterie, and beverages, they've got a selection that will entice you all night long. Renowned for their Charcuterie, on display in their impressive cabinet, award-winning head Chef, Ben Williamson, has crafted a menu that will leave your mouth watering. What’s more, they have delicious selection of tipples, making it one of the best cocktail serving bars in Brisbane, along with their extensive range of wines. Best dish: Salsichi Bosque (a catalan style salumi made with wild mushroom, fino sherry and black pepper) or anything from their salumi and cheese selection!
