This food is the most amazing this I have ever tasted! I had been building my expectations up all day and definitely wasn't let down by how wonderful the food was and delightful the staff were. We ordered a pizza, pasta and gnocchi to ensure we got a taste of it all.. and there wasn't much left once we finished. Highly recommend this restaurant to all coming to visit the Gold Coast and in search of great Italian cuisine.

About Gemelli Italian

Gemelli Italian Another Italian restaurant you say? No, not just another restaurant, this one has a strong point of difference. It is all about the oven, a wood-fired pizza oven that has been imported from Italy - and the traditional recipes which have been passed down from the Gemelli brother’s Nonna. Gemelli is a modern trattoria, complete with an old Vespa (how fitting), rustic bricks, brushed Italian granite bar and open ceiling, all indications of what to expect in the cuisine and that’s food that’s rich in flavour and texture. The food is made as traditionally as possible, using little ingredients - just like the Italians. There’s a wider Italian influence evident as well, drawing on the rich tapestry of regional cuisines the Gemelli’s discovered in their travels to Positano, the Amalfi Coast, Rome and Naples. If you’re a fan on kneaded, hand thrown dough, prepared with love and kissed with the smoke of a wood fire oven then you’ll love Gemelli. The consistent theme is traditional ‘handmade’, it’s almost like a little bit of Italy in Broadbeach! Best dish: vitello saltimbocca
