About Gazi Restaurant

Souva and chips refined With renowned celebrity chef George Calombaris behind it Gazi knew how to draw a crowd from day one. Located in the same building that housed the former Press Club this space has been transformed from a fine diner to a more casual all day diner. Head chef Luke Croston serves up Greek street food with a contemporary twist - think soft shell crab souvlakakia, wood fired meats and Greek inspired dips and salads. If you’re in a hurry at lunchtime go for the ‘Bend Over Box’ which will take you from savory to sweet - quick and fast. There is also ‘Doing It Greek Style’ set sharing menus available, in addition to the a la carte options. If you like to keep things simple then the souvlakis are for you. Go for the marinated beef brisket with flat leaf parsley, two types of mustard, aioli and finished with fries - in true Greek style. This is a relaxed environment, with hundreds of terracotta pots on the ceiling, backgammon sets and toilets with fluorescent seats adding to the laid back vibes. Best dish: marinated beef brisket souvlakakia
