Amazing. My second visit to Flying Fish and just as incredible as I remembered. Perfect for a special occasion.

Great food and great views. Could do with some music for some better ambience during the day.

The service was very uneven, with bread arriving on the table at the same time the mains were being served and long waits between courses. There was a function with the whole of downstairs being taken which impacted on service to customers upstairs. They gave us a free glass of wine as an apology.

About Flying Fish

Flying high With stunning harbour views, a distinguished Chef’s Hat and an industrial-style interior that echo’s the areas manufacturing-maritime past is Flying Fish. This distinguished restaurant is known for its innovative (seriously tasty) menu that skilfully blends together Modern Australian and Asian-inspired flavours. Head Chef Stephen Seckold cleverly serves up fragrant Asian style curries alongside WA Marron with brown butter emulsion, charred lettuce and aged balsamic with great success. Diners can choose to indulge in the fine dining menu in the main restaurant space, or opt for the more relaxed bar and snack menu in the neighbouring bar space. Book your next celebration, or stroll into the chilled bar on a lazy Sunday afternoon and soak up that view. Best Dish: seared tuna with grapefruit, black pepper caramel, crisp pork.
