Great views of the bay. Great service.

Excellent food (though choice of fish was a bit limited for a seafood restaurant) and generally good service, but some minor quibbles - we were not advised of the daily specials, the wait staff were a trifle too eager to remove our plates, and the plate on which the barramundi was served was too small to be able to debone it properly. A fish knife would have been appreciated as well. Overall a very enjoyable dining experience.

An old favourite which remains one of the best restaurants in Geelong. Great seaside atmosphere for a romantic meal or special occasion with views over the harbour. We come at least once a year, and will be back.

Excellent food as always and without a doubt the best restaurant in Geelong. Perfect for a special occasion.

Seafood platter is impressive

Entrees were average. Oysters kilpatrick - bacon was sparingly used & scallops with pork belly with a potato pure - pork belly was almost like it was hand made from pork meat shredded and molded into a square.... the driest only slightly beating the pure’ thing. $44 for a piece of whiting and a rocket pear salad .... very tasty albeit very light on the quantity. Finally after finishing our entree our mains arrived within 10 min and for the next 35 min we sat there waiting for a drink.... zero .... no one even came back and asked if we wanted a dessert menu so with that we left. $200 for a fraction over an hour at the table..... you need to be better than that in a crowded market.

A good selection of food, very small servings for the prices, quality medium to good, not up to the price charged, service very good, handed the wrong bill at the end of the night $200 extra , we had to approach staff, for the price would not highly recommend, if portions were larger then a recommendation would be a defineate.

Good service, OK food but over priced. Expected more seafood on the menu. Saturday lunch on a nice day the place was empty. Lower your prices, change the menu and you will get more people.

About Fishermen's Pier

Swim On Down Before you hit the Great Ocean Road, stopping at Fisherman’s Pier in Geelong is a must do. With photo-worthy views of Corio Bay and beautifully presented fresh seafood, Fisherman’s Pier is a treat for the eyes and the taste buds. This modern seafood restaurant showcases Victoria’s wealth of seafood, but not to worry if you’re a non-seafood eater. There are other options on offer that are just as thoughtfully prepared, including spiced rubbed lamb rack, Angus eye fillet or a potato gnocchi served with tomato, olives, pumpkin, pesto and goats cheese. Seafood aficionados, get ready to make a tough decision: the Southern rock lobster or the whole fish of the day? The beer battered King George whiting fillet or the seafood linguini? You might just have to close your eyes and point somewhere on the menu. You can’t go wrong. So whether you’re just passing through Geelong on a road trip or you’re a local, check out Fisherman’s Pier. It’s classy but still approachable. And you’ll be talking about the seafood for days. Best dish: Hapuka fillets with baked ricotta, green peas, parmesan, cherry tomatoes and bacon jam
