Fantastic (sea)food (we haven't tried any meat dish), the 'fire' touch is absolutely amazing, even on the vegetables! Well-balanced, subtle and simply delicious. The music is a tad loud for my liking, but the restaurant has a great atmosphere and I will strongly recommend it.

I was very disappointed with the food, found it lacked the sophistication, depth of flavour and texture that you would expect for a fine dining venue. The cocktails were a redeeming aspect l, lovely flavour and presentation, however took a long time to arrive.

Amazing food ... delicious, simple and allowing the quality of the ingredients to shine ! .... Atmosphere has a really nice relaxed vibe and service was attentive. Had a lovely time and definitely will be back.

Beautiful meal. We had the chef's menu which consisted of several entree sized portions and a couple of main sized portions as well as dessert. Fantastic wine menu. Very attentive waitress too. Thank you also for the little added touch for my hubby's birthday too :)

All food has such a lovely smoky flavour from the firewood. The chicken breast dish recommended by the waitress is so tender & juicy, we had never ordered chicken on a fine dining restaurant but this changed us! The $167 steak is flavoursome but very fatty. Service is a bit slow & inattentive once busy.

There's absolutely no WOW factor after trying the Chef's Menu. All the dishes were just plain normal.

Fireside with Dan Hunter

Lennox is joined by Brae’s Dan Hunter at Firedoor for our next Fireside event. The night will see a collaboration between the two chefs with eight courses including snacks. Tuesday 27th November, $245 per person, includes drink on arrival. A beverage pairing will be available on the night for $100 per person. Full payment by credit card is required for all reservations at the time of booking, at a charge of $245 per person plus a processing fee of $6.73 per person. Should you need to cancel your reservation or reduce guest numbers within 7 days of the event date your payment will become non-refundable.
