Food and wines were very good. Unfortunately we were not seated in the nicer part of Esquire with views of the Story Bridge.

Fantastic service. Incredibly creative chef. Great wine pairing. All topped off with a gorgeous view of the Storey Bridge. Highly recommended.

Still hungry by the end of the meal !

Not worth the money. Neither the food norme the wine were of particular interest. Loud. Poor service. They pretend to be something they are not.

Menu was incoherent and food was average. Service was average.

Amazing coal-fire cooked lamb and tri-trip beef. Radicchio and Gouda is the best “side” I’ve ever eaten.

Nice views, food was good but wine pairing was average. Lack of explanation on food and wine for a fine dine standard.

About esq & esquire

Who said fine dining can’t be fun? Esquire is a big win for Brisbane. In fact, it’s a huge win for the entire sunny state. As the first three-hatted restaurant in Brissie, this venue delivers - on every front. Esquire is one of Queensland’s most forward thinking food venues and Chef Ryan Squires isn’t afraid to push the culinary boundaries, serving food that is vibrant and unusual. Squire’s message is clear – fine dining can still be fun. Esquire offers a seamless flow set multi course menu reflecting market availability. In a day by day design, the menu changes and prices can range from $120-$160 on any given night. For those in search of a slightly more casual dining experience, sister restaurant esq. sits conveniently in the front left-hand side and bar area before you go into Esquire. Here you can pick and choose from the a la carte menu instead of doing the full degustation menu. Despite being more casual in nature, esq. still creates sensational dishes using the same philosophy found in the formal esquire dining and the menu is packed with appeal. Set just back off Queen Street Wharf with stunning views of the Brisbane river Esquire and esq. offer a dining experience you'll never forget. Best dish: brined Holmbrea chicken
