New chef since we last visited and the food quality is still excellent. Service was a little overbearing, but given it was quiet when we visited, there weren’t many other tables to attend to. Still a great venue to visit for either lunch or dinner when visiting the Hunter.

Had a really nice lunch at Esca, would recommend the potato gnocchi for entree and the duck for main course. We also enjoyed the sides of pumpkin & mozzarella and mushrooms, both were delicious. The chef gave me a complimentary container of olives to take with us. Very good service will look forward to eating here again.

Fantastic views and beautiful food! The gnocchi entree will be my main next time! Love the complimentary sourdough bread to soak up the last of the golden gnocchi sauce. The trio of chocolate mandarin desserts was a wonderful ending.
