Family of four, we shared tapas and a nice rioja. Enjoyed all the tapas, varied from good to delicious. Be prepared for a busy and noisey atmosphere. But the service was great: plates came out quickly, and staff kept an eye on us to check if we wanted to order more tapas!

About Encasa

At home at Encasa Looking for a pre theatre meal? Why not get in the mood for your show at this lively tapas bar that will transport you to Spain. Close to the Capitol Theatre this is the perfect place to sip on sangria and nibble on the likes of chorizo a la plancha (grilled Spanish sausage), albondigas (beef meatballs in almond sauce) and pulpo a la plancha (grilled fresh baby octopus). The tapas menu is sure to satisfy but there is also a selection of pizzas and pastas in case the tapas just doesn’t cut the culinary mustard for you. Best dish: chorizo a la plancha (grilled Spanish sausage)
