Dined at Encasa for Valentine's Day this year - this restaurant has always been one of my favourites!! Really awesome food - the tapas and pizzas are incomparable. The sangria is definitely a must get. Service on the night was exceptional which I personally feel is a big win for the rating that I gave. Great atmosphere. However, I do feel the tables are somewhat too closely seated to share a private conversation with your date.

An old favourite, cannot find fault with this restaurant. The meals are always outstanding. Staff are attentive without being overbearing, service is quick. Only downside is the restaurant is always full and noisy.

Given the fact that I made this booking at least one week in advance, the table allocated to my group isn't satisfied. We have to sit right next to the front entrance...the chair i was sitting on had problem(worn off, one leg was nearly broken) it throw me out of balance and I nearly fall off the chair. Shouldn't the staff be checking on this?

Organised a group lunch at Encasa, quick service with the group set menu, plenty of food and accomodating with food allergy. Will be back again!

About Encasa

At home at Encasa Looking for a pre theatre meal? Why not get in the mood for your show at this lively tapas bar that will transport you to Spain. Close to the Capitol Theatre this is the perfect place to sip on sangria and nibble on the likes of chorizo a la plancha (grilled Spanish sausage), albondigas (beef meatballs in almond sauce) and pulpo a la plancha (grilled fresh baby octopus). The tapas menu is sure to satisfy but there is also a selection of pizzas and pastas in case the tapas just doesn’t cut the culinary mustard for you. Best dish: chorizo a la plancha (grilled Spanish sausage)
