Had a great meal with a few mates. The place is low key in terms of atmosphere but based on the number of Indian customers already seated and smells from the kitchen the first impression was good. between 4 people ordered 2 tandoori meat platters (bone in chicken, bone less chicken, kebab), 5 curries (the Goat Bhuna was excellent and Chicken Tikka was very good), 6 naan (peshwari coconut was quality) and rice. Ate a massive feast and left very satisfied. The serving size of curries were decent but the naan could have been a bit bigger and generous but still tasted fine. The service was friendly and efficient. Food was serviced quick too. Very good meal and would come back again.

As soon as you enter the floor is very slippery so be careful. We had a table for 12 people, service staff had no idea about how much food will there be in a plate, quality of food was ok. This place lacks consistency in quality and quantity when it comes to food and service. Sometimes it could be good and sometimes it’s very bad.

Great tasting Indian food and very reasonably priced. Friendly service. We've been before and will definitely be going again.

Went on Good Friday, unfortunately they were serving only a limited menu which was quite disappointing as a first experience. Ordered the Butter Chicken, Lamb Saag, Lamb Masala and Chilli Garlic Chicken, 3 Butter Naan, 1 Roti, 4 steamed rice and 3 Kingfishers between 4 people. I'm more of a Korma girl myself but it wasn't on the limited menu so the Butter Chicken had to suffice. It was actually really tasty. The Lamb Saag was also good, not too spicy and the lamb was very tender. The bill came to $35 per head which is pretty good! Would recommend, and I shall definitely return on a non public holiday evening to sample the full menu.

We thought we'd try Desi Dhaba before heading to a gig at the Forum Theatre. Although the service was a little chaotic and several staff came to clarify our order, staff were friendly and the food was delicious. There was an error with our order which was proactively rectified without us having to ask - always a nice touch! I would eat here again.
