Express lunch @ Coal Cellar & Grill NEVER disappoints. It is even better now with the addition of a steak option for an extra $5. Will continue to come back!

100 day aged steak was tough as. Very dissapointing. Dessert pana cotta too hard and bomb Alaska lacked the thrill of watching the flame as there was no flame and wasn’t a very one too.

All in all this was a little disappointing. Firstly I had an entree of San choi bao which is usually served in a crisp lettuce cup, however this was on a fairly tired wilted flat lettuce leaf which was very messy. Nothing offered to clean hands afterwards. The steak itself was nice, however it doesn't come with an accompaniment meaning it needs to be ordered separately, but the side was way too big. I wouldn't rush back

I was very disappointed with this dining experience. We only ordered entrees and waited an hour for them to arrive. There appeared to be enough waiting staff but perhaps there needed to be more kitchen staff.

Bringing it back to basics and true to our name, the menu highlights the best of South Australia’s produce using a variety of cooking methods including the feature charcoal grill and rotisserie. The wine choice is abundant with over 500 labels listed, majority from South Australia and all on display in the Cellar. Three private dining rooms surround the restaurant and are available for meetings, cocktail functions and dinners. The lounge bar is the perfect setting for pre or after dinner drinks, a relaxing coffee, tapas and cocktails.
