Our second visit with a group of Broadland House old girls down one end of the room along with a group of old Grammar Boys the other end. Great lunch with many laughs.

The food was lovely and the service was excellent. I love the look of the place especially the lounges. The only criticism is that it was very noisy but that may have just been the table we were next to who seemed to be having a wonderful time.

Love this as a great local restaurant eatery. Would love it more if they chose a few wines that were not necessarily cheaper in price but better quality...people will pay for more for better. We love the ambience and the staff are really great. Plus the refurb is super. great spot! Thankyou

Nice atmosphere, in order to maximise seating some tables ( including ours!) where in very awkward places. Ours was squeezed into a space at an odd angle and was also a pathway for most if not all the waiting staff. Chair was old and quite uncomfortable. I would go back but be very specific about seating position.

About Clarendon Arms

The Clarendon is a beautiful cosy bar that's perfect for a few cosy quiet ones and a delicious family meal. The decor is old school and extremely comfortable, emanating distinct English pub vibes throughout. The menu is crafted from local produce, offering a number of traditional pub style dishes, think large roasts, pies, rich soups and beautiful burgers. Don't forget to save room for the traditional bread and butter pudding with butterscotch sauce! There's also a great selection of beers on tap and a good wine list too. Best dish: Aged Tasmanian Porterhouse steak with fat chips and Clarendon Arms pepper corn jus
