We each had an entree and main from the vacation series menu. My was the bruschetta with smoked scamorza and pepperonata which was quite disappointing as it was quite bland and hard, and the cheese had no smoked flavour at all. We both had linguine with asparagus, saffron, olive oil and herbs and it was delicious! Not the best meal I’ve had at Bucci but the pasta was great as it always is there. Nice wine and good service.

What a shame the Abruzzo Vacation Series entrées weren't to your liking but we appreciate the feedback (especially from a loyal Bucci guest like yourself!). Food service was quite slow. Dessert a little disappointing.

Delicious food, great service. Regularly recommend Bucci to interstate visitors. Unfortunately the mocktail (because I’m pregnant I can’t drink wine at moment) I ordered last night had to be redone but still not great, couldn’t drink it

the only negative is that it is very noisy. Luckily we were able to move from our original table inside the restaurant to another one onthe side edge

Booked for 8.30pm but we’re delayed getting there. We rang and they very kindly kept the kitchen open until we arrived at 9pm!!!! Greatly appreciated as this was a special occasion. Excellent friendly service and delicious food as usual.

The mussels share plate and calamari was good . The scallops were ok. However,we had Linguine Al Granchio with spanner crab and the spaghetti with lobster. The Linguine Al Granchio was way too tangy. It had so much lemon juice it that my husband couldn’t even eat half of it and left it. Myself and a friend had The spaghetti with lobster which was also too tangy but not as bad as my husbands. We later regretted not having told the staff as they could have tasted it and seen what was wrong.having paid $38 per dish, perhaps we should have. We didn’t want to make a scene . I think the chef must have forgotten and doubled or even tripled up on his lemon juice. Sadly can’t recommend Bucci to others. Choc Dessert was ok. They ran out of the Maritozzi Di Banoffee which was also disappointing.

Great spot for a casual catch up

Food was delicious and service was OK. We arrived early so we hung out at the adjoined bar for a while and the cocktail waitress was very friendly and pleasant. A little bit pricey, but would come back for the flourless chocolate cake again.
