Food was very average and small servings my husband had a burger with chips there were literally like 6 chips on the plate. I ordered a side of baked beans with my meal which were $2.50 it was a tablespoon amount! We will not return.

Great spot with great food. Definitely returning

Food was yummy. Servers were very friendly but a little slow mainly because we felt they were understaffed. Two people working tables, seating, taking orders and payment for entire restaurant on a Friday night was not enough. Was great to try a different type of cuisine for Brisbane but we thought there might be some ambient music or live music to create the true New Orleams atmosphere.

Not many other people in the restaurant. Friendly waitress, great food.

The food was great and the vibe of the place is nice, but the service was a bit lacking. While the wait staff were pleasant, they weren’t particularly good at waiting on us. We had to get their attention every time we wanted to order meals or drinks, rather than them checking in and asking if we needed anything.

Nice spot for casual dining and my blackened fish main was cooked to perfection.

About Bourbon Street

Southern hospitality Put on your best southern drawl and prepare your taste buds for a serious flavour onslaught. Bourbon Street pays homage to the Southern diners of Louisiana and New Orleans - with plenty of Southern hospitality a rich creole-inspired menu, a decadent drinks list, a quirky dining space and a breezy homestead-style alfresco area this is ideal resto for a casual catch up or a lazy Sunday session. The menu brings the flavours of the south with a menu featuring plenty of smoky, slow cooked and deep fried options - the sticky BBQ ribs and buttermilk biscuit fried chicken are always crowd pleasers. And for dessert? Well, it doesn't get much better than the Louisiana pecan pie with double cream. Digest while listening to Chalkie (the in house musician) bang out a few tunes on the piano. Best Dish: buttermilk fried chicken.
