Good food but bad experience. We booked the 50% off food bill. The dining experience was not so good in the end when we asked to take left overs home... For 2 people, I ordered 2 starters, a meat main for my son and a vegie and seafood main for me. I don't eat meat. That's a reasonable order for 2 people. Unfortunately my son wasn't feeling well so he didnt eat his main at all but I at least got him to eat the starters. The manager apparently said we shouldn't be taking left overs as we had the discount. Well, I took the left overs anyway rather than letting it go to waste. Maybe they should look at what we ordered - it wasn't too much; and should jave asked why my son's main wasn't touched before assuming we just wanted to get take away. I went there to try the food and have a nice dinner. Bad experience.
Hello there, Thanks for the feedback and we're glad you at least enjoyed the food. With regards the Dimmi special - we had simply explained to you that the 50% off food discount is typically for dine-in only, however we were happy to and did on this instance make an exception. In fact, we provided you with the containers to take away your food, and as you mention in your comments you did exactly that. We're also not in the habit of quizzing customers as to why haven't finished off their food as most people probably would not appreciate us asking this question. Anyhow, we're always interested in improving our service, so any other comments you have on how this might've been better handled would be appreciated.

We loved the food. Fabulous flavours. The service was a little slow and inattentive, and the view wasnt great (being on the main road), but we still really enjoyed it. It was great value with the 50% off deal.

We came here on a Dimmi 50% off special. We've been here before and we've found it good value, so we organised a group of seven this time. It was a windy day and the restaurant is not very big indoors (mainly has outdoors sheltered seating) but when we said we'd prefer to sit indoors because of the wind, the waiters were good about finding us suitable seating by putting some tables together, so we had a very comfortable night. As a large group we were able to order a large number of dishes - lots of curries including spinach (palak paneer), goat, two prawn dishes, lamb, eggplant and we also got a fried fish dish, some rice and several types of naans. It was a great feed. The place is BYO so we brought our own wine and everyone enjoyed themselves immensely and found the range of dishes a lot of fun and the naans especially good. I really enjoyed the prawn curries and the spinach and cheese naans. The bill came out so cheap, everyone was so surprised and even if we had paid full price it would still have been affordable, but the Dimmi offer made it must-visit. This is a great place and well worth coming back over and over for.

Great food and service. Great value with dimmi deals but unfortunately located on the busiest noisest corner around... could barely hear each other talking and we were inside!

The food and service were awesome. A huge range of Indian street food was the best take. Must try the "street food" column.
