Distinguished meat and charcuterie; good (including Spanish) and well-matched wine list without excessive length; splendid starters and good side dishes. Not vegetarian friendly but surprising accommodation; gluten free very easy and well handled, even for multi-diner tasting menu; a celebration of fire and meat.

Booked an anniversary dinner and had the degustation menu. This comprised of four entree tastings, a cured meat course with sour dough and balsamic, and both suckling roasted pig and lamb to share for main with a couple of sides. Food was lovely and plentiful. Great value for money.

Black Fire will take you to Spain as soon as you get into the restaurant. First bite, you can already taste Spain. At the end of your delicious meal you're gonna feel spanish. I can promise that.

Very good quality steak. Very good service. Suggest they could enlarge the selection of sides. Good quality of food for a reasonable price. Keep up that quality and I will visit again.

About Black Fire

“Fuego negro!” Black Fire offers an exciting and innovative take on Mediterranean cuisine. Their dishes are wonderfully well thought-out and presented, inspired by their culture and their love of cooking. Meats, seafoods and vegetables are cooked through an open fire roast. This is the highlight of their meals - it’s incredibly authentic and unique. Located in Braddon, Black Fire is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner so it is perfect for any occasion. Best dish: Arroz Caldoso - King prawns with saffron and pimenton.
