The food was lovely! And so was the service! You can opt to sit at the bar where you can watch the cooking in action. The special menu was strangely written in a cursive font that was hard to decipher. We had to ask the staff, who was so patient with us, to repeat everything on the menu. We ordered about 5 dishes, without alcohol, coming up to $147.

Classy Chinese cuisine with great vegetarian choices. Good value for the quality. Expected more Australian bush tucker fusion than was actually on the menu.

Service was good and fast. Food was nicely cooked and tasty. A bit noisy at some point in the night, but it was quite busy.

Simply one of the best places to eat in Sydney. It's always an absolute joy to dine at Billy Kwongs. If you can get a seat at the counter it's really worth doing; you experience just how hard working and professional the chefs are here.

Beautiful modern Chinese food. Each dish a modern take on traditional Cantonese fare. We had steamed scallop dumplings, fried duck pancakes, steamed snapper and stir fried native greens. Kylie Kwong served us! How awesome is that?

About Billy Kwong

Kylie's done it again Let's face it - we're always going to be on board with whatever chef Kylie Kwong is doing. And Billy Kwong in Potts Point, is no exception. A large dining room painted in tones of burnt orange and rust, filled with large chairs, a long counter and a bustling open kitchen is a sight to be seen. Here, there is an emphasis on their project beverage program - the wine list is plentiful with Australian drops and the gin and tonic garnished with chilli is a triumph. The food is excellent and the menu has maintained crowd favourites from the original Crown Street restaurant. Visit Billy Kwong for a spectacular five star night out that will transform your understanding of Asian cuisine. Best Dish: fried eggs with chilli and XO.
