Beautiful modern Chinese food. Each dish a modern take on traditional Cantonese fare. We had steamed scallop dumplings, fried duck pancakes, steamed snapper and stir fried native greens. Kylie Kwong served us! How awesome is that?

Dinner for 4 and we had the banquet - a great choice with good variation across the 9 dishes. Good amount of food and tasty. Limited wine list but both bottles that we had (1 white, 1 red) were excellent and matched the food well.

I love this restaurant. The food is always fantastic. We had the warrigal greens dumplings, vegetarian sang choi bow, whole john dory, pine mushrooms,, eggplant, fried rice and ice creams, with one of Kyle's project wines, a Margaret River cab blend. We were able to get to the Hayes Theatre in time to see Gypsy.

About Billy Kwong

Kylie's done it again Let's face it - we're always going to be on board with whatever chef Kylie Kwong is doing. And Billy Kwong in Potts Point, is no exception. A large dining room painted in tones of burnt orange and rust, filled with large chairs, a long counter and a bustling open kitchen is a sight to be seen. Here, there is an emphasis on their project beverage program - the wine list is plentiful with Australian drops and the gin and tonic garnished with chilli is a triumph. The food is excellent and the menu has maintained crowd favourites from the original Crown Street restaurant. Visit Billy Kwong for a spectacular five star night out that will transform your understanding of Asian cuisine. Best Dish: fried eggs with chilli and XO.
