The food is good, but the delivery is painfully slow. they ran out of their star dish - crab. And the wine list is boring.

terrible food,, entrees were shockers, with my wife's allergies, she falls back on pork belly often and this example was the worst ever. Can't say anything good about the experience.

It was a pleasure to again enjoy Beach Almond, a new front of house team since our last visit and a pleasure to see the same familiar face in the kitchen. An interesting seafood based menu that suits the location. A relaxing visit with service that was prompt and attentive.

This place was a lovely surprise and I would highly recommend it - we will be returning for sure . The seafood was fantastic and soo flavoursome - the black pepper prawns were just amazing!!! Great food, great location and fabulous service.

If you like mussels, this dish is superb. Largest mussels I have ever seen. Prepared beautifully.

This restaurant has seen better days. It needs a total refurb, update, improved food quality and cleanup. It might have been great once but it is not well kept and looks really unloved.

Lovely place but service can be awkward depending on who serves. Also very pricey for the good stuff like lobster and crab. The food is excellent and the owner is very friendly. Local beer in stock too.

About Beach Almond

Tropical delights Featuring fresh and healthy Modern Asian cuisine, prepared by passionate chefs, in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere this is the ideal spot for a shared meal with family and friends. The menu features modern Thai, Malay, Singaporean flavours and the restaurant itself is housed in what is perhaps the oldest beach house on Williams Esplanade. The old beach house opens out onto a magnificent covered long deck that stretches out to the Coral Sea, Great Barrier Reef. (It’s actually modelled on a “Long House” that you would find in Lombok, next to Bali). Whether you want a full blown feast of Beach Almond Chilli Crab, succulently barbecued seafood catch or a healthy salad, Beach Almond restaurant and bar’s bounty of culinary alternatives provide delightful dining experiences for all. Best dish: banana leaf barramundi char grilled with dipping sauce.
