Food was okay, pasta tasted good. We got the garlic prawn pizza the base was good. But it said it had chilli in it, wasn’t expecting sweet chilli sauce squeezed over the top. Then some tiny prawns. Not worth the $26. Salt and pepper squid was really nice but still $20 for an entree. Little far fetched. Wouldn’t come back for food anytime soon,

Great casual & relaxed atmosphere. Staff were attentive, food was good value for money. Being able to take home unfinshed food was a bonus. Would definitely dine at Barenz again.

Barenz has different seating zones that make it a great venue for almost any occasion; from afternoon coffee and cake by the window to cocktails at the bar; from a family dinner with the kids to a romantic dinner for two or even a private function out the back.

About Barenz

Who needs Barcelona when you’ve got Barenz? This Camden eatery is the perfect cure for your Spanish addiction. The impressive tapas bar is spread across two levels, with an additional alfresco dining space at the rear, perfect for long summer evenings or a private functioin. Inside, the restaurant is an amber coloured glow and the large bar takes centre stage. Sink down into one of the comfy couches lining the walls and prepare for a taste-full journey. If you’re in the mood for tapas try the seared scallops and chorizo or the lemon infused salt and pepper calamari. Don’t worry if you need something more substantial, there are also pizza and pasta dishes on offer. This place can get pretty busy in the evenings so make sure you book ahead. Best dish: 16 hour slow cooked lamb shoulder
