Love this place! The food was interesting and yummy, the atmosphere chilled yet attentive. Feels like a cross between having a fine dining meal and dinner at your grandmother's house. Will definitely be back!

About Bar Idda

Soak up the Sicilian life At Bar Idda you’re in for a night of feasting and fun as owner Alfredo La Spina and his team take you on a journey to Sicilia. Found in the heart of Lygon Street this cosy eatery creates Sicilian inspired cuisine and flavours with a focus on local produce. La Spina is passionate about his parents’ homeland - Sicilia - and draws on his love for the country to create a unique experience for diners that celebrates Sicilian food and culture. To complement the delicious food, wines and sweet wines are exclusively Sicilian, accompanied by a range of Italian craft beers, aperitivi and digestivi. It’s the full Sicilian experience at Bar Idda. Dishes are best enjoyed with a bunch in the centre of the table so you can sample as much Sicilian goodness as possible. Best dish: twirled pasta, slow cooked pork and beef ragu, pecorino
