With a wide range of fresh daily specials, Arkibar is always an interesting place to eat. Great cuisine and very good service means we will return.

Staff were friendly, place was busy but a very cold breeze was blowing through the front door like a fake. Food was very good although chips didn’t come out together with the steak....bit annoying. Not the most fabulous of views looking into a very busy road.

Service was somewhat lacking, we had to continue to seek out staff to attend to our needs at nearly all times.

A fantastic all round restaurant. A shame it isn’t open more often.

Very good food though bit pricey for a casual cafe. The specials should be written up somewhere so can more easily consider all the options plus see prices. Bit noisy as sound seemed to echo around due to acoustics / wood floors so not great for a business meeting but would be a decent choice in the area for a nice lunch with friends

Great food always, service can be a bit slow at lunch time but the quality of the food makes up for it.

About Arkibar

Italian is always a good idea! Stylised and well-disguised, this buzzing, cosy cafe is serving up tasty Modern Italian dishes which are a pleasure to eat. Although it's only open for dinner twice a week (Thursdays and Fridays), the breakfasts are delicious and the lengthy lunch menu is a ‘who’s who’ of traditional Italian grub. The also make killer coffee. If you are going for dinner try their homemade gnocchi, which comes with different toppings each day of the week. Our favourite topping is the delicious duck ragu! Arikibar is a great (quieter alternative) from mainstream Southbank… try it yourself! Best Dish: chargrilled calamari
