We all enjoyed the dining experience and would certainly go back. Great that they use local seafood and not imported from Asia.

Great location. Busy night, with few staff.

The share plates were really good. The flavours in the spring rolls were just delicious, and the Kippfler potato side was really good as well. We could not fault the food. Service was OK, but not really attentive enough for the quality of establishment. The down side is a 3% surcharge for Amex which is too high.

Special request (pre-theatre dinner) for quick service was noted. Could not fault service. Menu - the restaurant had fun out of halloumi cheese by 6.00pm Saturday evening although staff were still offering it.

About Arintji Steak & Seafood

Tranquil haven Located in the heart of Melbourne this modern eatery is a tranquil haven, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Federation Square. Inside, this restaurant is seriously minimalistic/chic. The walls and floor are covered with a honey coloured timber, and the ceiling in is covered in dramatic wooden panelling of the same colour. The neutral tones, and the warm timber establish a soothing environment - all there’s left to do is eat! The menu has a contemporary European theme, and you’ll find dishes like seafood paella next to twice cooked pork belly in the mains section. Finish off your meal with a tastebud tingling dessert. We love the ‘mocha smashed pav’ which is pavlova, coffee cream chocolate brownie and saffron oranges. Some times more is more. Best Dish: wild rabbit & pistachio terrine, spice pear & brioche toast
