Have been to Antico several times and is one of my most favourite restaurants. Always an enjoyable evening.

Service was great and very friendly. Food was average. Many restaurants I have been to for birthday dinners have not charged to cut cake but Antico Caffe do! They do dress it up by putting some cream on the plate but I'd rather they don't do that as my table don't eat the added cream.

About Antico Caffe

Tutti-Frutti Benvenuti You really can feel at home in this charming, comfortable little Italian eatery on Royal Street in East Perth. The head chef is also the guy who owns it so he can pretty well do what he likes as far as the menu is concerned. He takes full advantage of his dictatorship by turning out a series of quirky but very tasty Italian fare. Apparently they are traditional family recipes that have been handed down through the generations. We can´t tell how far back this goes but Leonardo and Michelangelo wouldn´t have been disappointed if they´d tried some of these dishes. Take, for example, the Involtini Giulietta and Romeo: a pair of rolled chicken breast fillets stuffed with breadcrumbs, prawns, mushrooms and herbs and served in a cream, mushroom and garlic sauce with garlic bread. Being so close to the CBD, the place is handy for business lunches. It´s also ideal for an intimate dinner for two. After all, who understands romance better than the Italians? Best dish: Scaloppine Campagnola
