Service was generally good. After mains were cleared they were slow to bring us dessert menus, then take our order and then the waiter forgot to order one of our teas. We also asked the first waiter for food recommendations and her response was she was new so could only give us recommendations on what looked good! We asked another waiter for food advice and she gave us very clear and passionate responses. Some of which we followed. Delicious food.

The food is very good. Unfortunately, language skills with one of the waiters caused problems. Management was aware and gave us complimentary baklava.

A favourite of ours down at Barangaroo, Anason is a wonderful experience, with terrific service, friendly staff, helpful with wine and food choices, and a great way to spend the afternoon or evening sharing delicious food with friends.

Overall the service was good however scored a 7 due to a few instances - drinks took a while to be served, and rather than anticipate our needs, we had to wait and the servers only came by after we had to 'flag' them down to get their attention. This would be understandable if the restaurant was full and busy, but this occurred when only a few tables were occupied. When we were served, however, it was friendly and efficient.
