A pleasant surprise. The staff were only too kind to be of service and the menu had plenty of options to chose from keeping in theme with the Japanese style. The food was very consistent but nothing was mind blowing amazing in taste. I am very happy.

Nice place on South Wharf with nice views over the Yarra. Food was nice and service was great, but the portion sizes weren't huge though this is typical of Japanese cuisine. Everything tasted amazing though and we would come back.

Salmon carpaccio was okay, crab croquettes were better, pork belly main was delicious. Good service.

DOs: Haramasa Namerou ($16) - a pleasant way to start the dinner, fresh kingfish tartare with crispy rice crackers. MB6 wagyu takaki ($24) - very good quality beef sashimi. Nasu Dengaku ($14) - the eggplant was nicely grilled. Shake avocado maki ($12) - very fresh, love the masago coating. DONTs: Chicken karaage ($14) - pretty average. Seafood tempura ($21) - the batter is soft and oily.
