First time dining at Africola, we thoroughly enjoyed it! Staff were friendly and the service was great. We had an assortment of dishes from the menu and we enjoyed each and every one of them. We will be back!

A true gem of a restaurant that provides a unique food experience, with great service in a busy, up-vibe dining space. Noisy and true to its ethos of a no BS good time.

Lovely meal, enjoyed bar seating and seeing kitchen in action. Great staff and service. Wine list a bit narrow and pricey. Highly recommend the experience!

About Africola

Who’s up for a “supa hepi time”? Africola brings serious funk to Adelaide’s dining scene. The tasty North African cuisine, crafted by head chef, Duncan Welgemoed, is sure to lure you in so that you can experience mini flavour explosions with every bite. Enjoy African specialties of meat and vegetable dishes as well as breads, dips and pickles. (All the dips come with injera, a surprisingly delicious fermented flatbread you have to try). The peri peri chicken is also a standout, especially due to the “Mpumalanga fire,” a chilli sauce crafted from the Welgemoed family secret recipe. Africola’s funky vibe is complemented by an extensive list of Australian and imported South African wines. If you’re after something other than wine, try one of their unique cocktails or Africola's very own draft beer. What are you waiting for? A Hepi hepi time is waiting for you. Best dish: peri peri chicken
