Food was tasty but the curries weren't spicy at all, not even the vindaloo was spicy. The tandoori paneer was excellent as was the service.

Consistently good over many years, excellent value. Food is very low in (hot) spiciness, need to request if you want some sizzle.

We love this restaurant. It was a Friday night and it was 'rocking' but the food was outstanding as usual and the service was great! Highly recommended.

About Aashiana

Could it be real? We know, you love Indian food, right? And you’re after something a little more... authentic? Look no further than Aashiana, where Indian and Sri Lankan expats vouch for the authenticity and taste of their incredible fare. This modest restaurant has a homey vibe that gets your comfy and lets you focus on what you came for: the food. Expert chefs Matbar Singh Rana and Matbar Singh Rana run the kitchen; their combined experience spans over half a century! They specialise in tandoori and curry respectively, and have devised a banquet and a la carte menu to satisfy nationals and Aussie tastebuds alike. Banquet menu is chock full of meat and vegetarian options, touring you through countless traditional dishes steeped in spices and succulent flavours. Our favourites from the a la carte menu include the super-spicy chili beef and the vegetarian zalferzi a Pakistani style curry which is the chef’s specialty. If you love your Indian food and you love it to be authentic, then Aashiana is the place for you! Best dish: Goa fish masala
