Great for a steak. Creme Brulee was awesome. Don't bother with the oysters. Corkage was good for $20 per bottle and no restrictions on how many bottles.

Great service!!!! My Swordfish was to die for and the serving size was perfect. Don't really miss the salad bar as the serving sizes with the GREAT chips is more than enough.

Always great food and lovely staff. Definitely miss the salad bar (the only place where it was actually great) It hasn't stopped me coming back! I still highly recommend the Stow to anyone.

A little slice of Scandinavia A Hereford Beefstouw restaurant was opened in Denmark over 40 years ago. Now a worldwide phenomenon, this specialist steak house combined with the finest of European cooking techniques can be found internationally and for fun, you can actually post your menu as a post card to anywhere in the world at the restaurant’s expense. A brilliant marketing ploy by a brilliant restaurant, the Scandinavian design of the place uses the most modern furnishings, European artwork and is enhanced by a casual yet smart ambience. Everything is of the highest quality- the steak knives, lights, tables- and naturally the food. The beef comes from a specialty farm near Lucindale in SA and the search for the first Australian version of this European success story was realised when the beautiful two story bluestone house in fashionable Hutt Street, just outside the CBD, was located. The beautiful relishes and condiments, the perfection of the beef- everything is pretty much a work of art. Great place for lunch or for dinner- ensure you book! Best Dish - try any steak!
