Restaurant is nice but service was average. The servers were good but lacked some general management - refilling wine glasses when you purchase an $80 bottle is standard practice. Meat was beautiful and the service was quick.

The food was wonderful! Service was fantastic and was well catered for, especially when my father is vegatarian. If you have a chance, please try the 100 DAY DRY AGED CÔTE DE BOEUF. You will not be disappointed.

A lovely night for our anniversary. Steak was delicious. The only criticism I would have was the side of seasonal vegetables was a bit lacking. It was quite a big bowl but a rather small serve for the size of the bowl and the price. The vegetables were tasty though.

All the meat is quite exceptional. An amazing array of steak choices plus ribs and the incredible dry aged mutton. And don't forget to add a lobster tail if that's your thing. Great set-up and great service. One of the best places for a carnivore in Adelaide.

A little slice of Scandinavia A Hereford Beefstouw restaurant was opened in Denmark over 40 years ago. Now a worldwide phenomenon, this specialist steak house combined with the finest of European cooking techniques can be found internationally and for fun, you can actually post your menu as a post card to anywhere in the world at the restaurant’s expense. A brilliant marketing ploy by a brilliant restaurant, the Scandinavian design of the place uses the most modern furnishings, European artwork and is enhanced by a casual yet smart ambience. Everything is of the highest quality- the steak knives, lights, tables- and naturally the food. The beef comes from a specialty farm near Lucindale in SA and the search for the first Australian version of this European success story was realised when the beautiful two story bluestone house in fashionable Hutt Street, just outside the CBD, was located.
