If orange juice is usually your beverage of choice with your eggs and bacon on a Sunday morning then listen up. Brunch in Sydney has undergone a makeover. The latest trend is the bottomless brunch and it’s going to revolutionise your weekend.
What is bottomless brunch? It’s when you get a few hours of unlimited booze (usually Champagne, Mimosas or Bloody Marys) served with your smashed avo on toast. Local foodie Caitlin Wright shares some of her favourite bottomless brunch spots around Sydney.
The team behind Woolloomooloo’s Riley St Garage have opened Stanton & Co in Rosebery. On Sundays, the ‘Boozy Brunch’ runs from 10am – 1pm. Take a seat on the gorgeous sunny deck and order from the extensive brunch menu. You could get something on your own, like Kimchi grilled cheese crumpet or bacon and egg bao. But isn’t life more fun when shared?! Share plates include coco pops with vanilla panna cotta and provolone and sausage which you can bulk up with extra eggs and bacon.
Unlimited prosecco is $20 per person for 2 hours. Or you could splurge on one of their famous cocktails like the Morning Negroni (A twist on a classic negroni, with coffee liqueur). Now that’s how you start Sunday off right!
Get ‘Smashed in the Cross’ at ‘et al’ in Potts Point (smashed avo of course..) This cosy restaurant is in a side alley not far from the hustle and bustle of Kings Cross. Their $68 bottomless brunch is on every Saturday and Sunday from 10am – 2pm.
For two hours, your menu takes you from breakfast through to lunch with something sweet at the end. Featured on the menu is smashed avo with goats cheese and pickles on toast and their famous pumpkin ravioli with nut brown butter and cashews. Wash it all down with unlimited Mimosas, Bloody Marys and all shades of wine.
If you’re dreaming of summer on the Mediterranean, then Mrs Sippy at Double Bay could have the bottomless brunch for you. Their three-course brunch menu features slow cooked lamb with pomegranate and dukkah, house-made hummus and greek yoghurt gelato.
Brunch will pair perfectly with unlimited Chandon Brut NV plus a cocktail on arrival. Bookings are from 11am – 2pm every Saturday with a 2 hour sitting time.
We’ve stretched the ‘brunch’ rules a bit to include SoCal’s Bottomless Rosé Lunch (because, wine not!) This Neutral Bay restaurant creates food inspired by the Southern California coastline. Think fresh, spicy flavours with a definite Mexican influence - perfect for a summer lunch. The banquet lunch includes choice of taco (fish, brisket, pork, tofu), tuna ceviche and jerk chicken salad and plenty more.
Add unlimited Rosé or Rosé sangria for $65 per person for two hours (minimum four people) and you’ll be California dreaming.

With their Bountiful Brunch menu including unlimited Bellinis or Mimosas, you’ll feel like you’re floating on air. Brunch starts with homemade muesli and eggs benedict served to your table. You can help yourself to the gourmet buffet which includes cured meats, fine cheeses, fresh seafood & sweet treats. Plus choose an item from the a la carte menu such as smoked salmon or pancakes.
Brunch is held every Saturday from 11.30am - 2.30pm. There’s no better way to enjoy all the delights of Sydney!
