Broadbeach Restaurants

Broadbeach is arguably the most famous beach along the Gold Coast strip.

It’s certainly where the majority of places to eat are. And what is more important than eating? We’ve thought long and hard about it, and haven’t come up with anything yet.

Often referred to as being “the cosmopolitan beach” on the Gold Coast, this is an area with a wide selection of restaurants from all over the globe. Speaking of “cosmopolitan” there are also some fairly tremendous pubs, nightclubs, and cocktail bars.

A village by the beach

With the beach on one side, and a network of canals and lakes on the other, Broadbeach is a topographical mix of street grids, and slabs of land surrounded by twisting water passages.

This cluster of activity lends a sort of village feel to Broadbeach. Everything is within walking distance... and a walk might well be required after you visit a few of the restaurants in the area. If you’re anything like us, you will sit and graze for as long as it feels acceptable - chairs being timidly stacked on tables was our cue to leave, on a couple of occasions.

If you feel like something low-key, then there is a surf club right on the beach that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner from a modern Australian bistro. Cross the street and you have a choice of gourmet pizza, Turkish cuisine, or Mexican food. There are also a number of sushi and seafood restaurants which serve both take-away and dine in meals, ranging from maki to seafood platters.

People who are in the mood to get dressed up and dine in style, have only a couple of blocks to walk until they find some wonderful wine bars where award-winning executive chefs present everything from wagyu beef, to hand-made gnocchi, to steamed dumplings.

Big noisy places with flashing lights

If a small village ambience with full of fine dining options isn’t your cup of tea, then Broadbeach has the answer - it comes in the form of Jupiters Casino, and it’s minutes away from the beach.

Ever fancied yourself as a bit of James Bond type? Well, even if you aren’t an experienced gambler, there is a certain thrill to walking along the casino floor, watching people trying their luck at the tables or striding decisively into VIP rooms to play high stakes poker.

The good news is that if you are not in the mood for games of chance, there are plenty great places to eat where you are in absolutely no danger of losing money.

The restaurants at Jupiters present classic cuisine with a contemporary twist, as well as Chinese food from Canton, Szechuan, and Peking. Or if you are feeling like something a bit more casual, there are also expansive buffets and excellent cafés on every floor.

There are so many fantastic places to eat in the Gold Coast and Hinterlands area.  Why not let Dimmi take some of the hard work out of finding your ideal restaurant? We can help you find what you are looking for based on location or occasion, whether you’re in Broadbeach, Surfers Paradise, Noosa Heads, or beyond.
