I was tired after an exhausting week, we were staying at Secrets on the lake in Montville (amazing!!!) and I didn't want to leave to go to dinner that I had booked on a customers recommendation. My Fiancé loved the look of the menu and pushed us to go- I'm so glad he did, food was amazing and we had a wonderful night. If you come to Maleney YOU HAVE TO GO HERE!!

Absolutely perfect. Can't fault a thing. The tamarind fish was the best I have ever had

We came back to the Tamarind because we loved it so much the first time we visited last year. The food was still great this year but has become more 'healthy' and there isn't as much flavour/punch and colour on the plate.

Nice idea. Entrees were lovely. Premises very lacking in atmosphere - maybe nicer in the daytime.

Lovely wines to match our degustation. Some of the meals were not served hot enough.

Our visit was adversely affected by renovation work and closure of the main restaurant; the verandah is apparently used for special functions under normal circumstances. Breezy and balmy, with lovely garden views - but spoiled by proximity to sewage treatment (septic) system, aromatic but not in a positive sense ! Will return when main restaurant is open for a second chance. We enjoyed the meal. Authentic and flavoursome, but high priced for the fare provided on this occasion.

Flavours of the food were fantastic! Service from the staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional, especially the young man.

Lovers of Thai food would be well advised to head up the Blackall Ranges - the rewards we promise, will be rich (and fragrant). Tamarind elevates Thai dining and frees it from the usual cliches, both
