Turkish Delights Headed up by young owner/chef, Kemal Barut is Turkish restaurant, Lezzet, pleasing diners with authentic dishes from Barut’s grandmothers Ankaran village. The Elwood eatery is a modern take on Turkey’s love affair with wood-fired and char-grilled dishes - think tasty Turkish bread and smoky dips, pizzas, fat dolma, slow cooked Ottoman lamb and plenty of other spice-filled meals that are guaranteed to tantalise taste buds and satisfy hungry bellies. Banquettes and wall rugs follow the Turkish pro-forma, but mood lighting and pressed linen take Lezzet far beyond the typical Middle Eastern mould. Check it out. Best dish: Ottoman slow cooked lamb
