The menu was uninspiring and the food was ok, but didn't set my world on fire, especially compared to other restaurants in the Hunter we've eaten at.
My pasta needed a lot of seasoning and was bland.
It's in such a lovely setting but the reflective glass spoils any view and ambiance - makes you feel boxed in.
When I booked, I'd made a point of saying that it was a special night - the next day after our wedding, but on arrival we were told to "just sit anywhere" but by the windows (even though I was clear upon booking that we would like a window/view) When another couple arrived they were seated almost on top of us (by the window) even though there was not another soul in the premises, so our night was spent overhearing their loud conversation.
Our meals took such a long time to arrive even though the restaurant was almost empty.
Overall, quite disappointing
