  Opened on Friday the 10th of february, Claire's Kitchen is the new venture of French born Marc Kuzma AKA Claire de Lune. After 6 years running Slide (hint: just next door and sister business), Marc is bringing a little French style to the Paris end of Oxford street. Marc has created a traditional French Brasserie menu with, of course, a few modern twists. Claire has decorated the venue with fabulous imported wall papers, antiques and chic furniture. She has hand picked a team of charming professional french waiters and waitresses. Upstairs is Le Salon a sophisticated new function space, ideal for a cocktail party for 20 to 80 guests or a private dinner for up to 40 guests. With it's own bar, fire place, comfortable Leather Chesterfields lounges, funky Arne Jacobsen Egg Chairs and white French leather ottomans, the decor is shabby chic at it's best, The experience is just like visiting the rich eccentric French Aunt you never new you had!   "If you like red meat from a happy cow, you must try the chateaubriand, it is the most tender and delicious beef you will ever eat. The trimmings of potato mash and bearnaise sauce complement perfectly. The cheese board is a truly French cheese experience, close your eyes and you could be in France. Well worth the visit."

  "Chef really knows how to cook. The Chateaubriand was fab and the wines complementary. First round of bread was rather tough but it got better. Service was a little slow but perhaps because it was a full night. Decor was interesting. Would recommend restaurant to friends. Perhaps chef might be inspired to have a few more traditional French dishes. Table next to us said the snapper was gorgeous. We had chocolate desserts and they were strong on cocoa. Coffee was spot on."

  "We booked with the 50% off promotion. Service was attentive. Food was reasonably tasty, really liked the butter and mashed potato, ordered two entrees to share and a 2 person main. Unfortunately I wasn't super hungary. Bill came at around $30pp and I tipped $10."

  "Service at Claire's was impectable. Waiters are soooo french and nice looking to;) Food is mouth watering with such an aray to choose from. I cant wait to return."
